Recently, the mouse I've been using for almost six years at the office finally broke down. When the firm's IT department sent me a cheapo replacement, I decided to buy my own. I chose this one even though it was a gaming mouse because I wanted quality, a decent size and I didn't want a wireless mouse. I am more than pleased. The mouse is great for business work--terrific glide, great button and scroll wheel feel and terrific shape and size. Love it! I chose it over the G5 for two reasons. First, I didn't want to deal with the weird customizable weight system. Second, the G5 has a textured surface that would be sure to collect gunk. This one is almost the same as the G5 specification-wise (1800 vs. 2000 DPI, which doesn't matter for office work) but is more streamlined. If I didn't love the VX Nano I have at home so much, I'd be tempted to buy one of these for my home desktop.

All the buttons won't work with my Mac Pro. The side buttons, the right and left and scroll wheel work just fine. But the three other smaller buttons simply will not work.
