This device is easy to set up and has been saving me a lot of money on phone bills. With [....] and google voice, placing phone calls costs very little. I recommend this for anyone who feels comfortable using a computer (in order to set it up).

We ordered this product in order to connect to an NEC SV8100 Telephone System. Even after sending a unit to NEC's Product Engineering, we were not able to make it work. The SPA8000 worked just fine, but there is obviously something different going on with this unit. Linksys Tech Support did not reply to any requests for assistance.

I got connected this device to a cable modem .Works fine.Also it's powering all phone jacks in the house so I can use phone in any room.No problem whatsoever. Important thing if you do that to make sure to disconnect wire from outside phone company .
