Although I originally wanted a mount that could swivel and tilt, this one is fine for my needs. I feel that a more stationary mount would be more stable for my 52" flatscreen. Once the tv was mounted, I saw that the configuration of my room allowed a good view from every vantage point. Don't be intimidated about mounting it. Get a strong helper, a bubble level, a stud finder, and a good drill and you're good to go.
