Works Very Well
ThenBelkin is replacing another, outrageously expensive brand extender thatndies way too easily on even mild, suppressed, utility power faults. ThenBelkin holds up much, much better. With 8 CPU boxes in a rack extendednto 8 rooms, the console local port also allows for the computers tonconnect to a rack mounted 8-port KVM switch for easy access in the racknroom. Unlike the other brand's annoying dip switches, the Belkin videonintensity is set with a rotary adjust. Extending less than 50 feetnmight result in a grainy video display despite a minimum videonintensity setting.
Pros: More rugged than Avocent Longview. Includes local ports with easily adjustable remote video intensity
Cons: Lacks a serial port (e.g. touchscreen)
