I bought a pair of these headphones about 3 years ago and they're still going strong. I just bought a pair for my dad for father's day as he loved mine so much. Coming from him that's a big compliment because he's worked in the audio industry doing technical work as well as being an on air DJ at various radio stations for over 20 years of his life. He's heard a lot of headphones performance and says that this is one of his favorites. I find that I pick up nuances of sound I'd never heard before in albums I'd listened to hundreds of times. I love these headphones! They also block noise very well for being a lower end model.

I've had these headphones since 2005. But when I started working full time in 2007, I used these headphones everyday. I have to take them off and on when people come by my desk or when I get up from my desk. These headphones really aren't meant to be taken on and off a lot. The earphones are attached to the band that goes over your head with two pieces of plastic. Eventually one side will wear out and break. It's happened to me twice. The first time, I availed myself of the lifetime warranty. I paid $6 to ship the broken ones back to Koss and paid $6 to have them ship me a replacement pair. The new ones broke the exact same way. I contacted Koss to see if they would let me upgrade to a different model. They will give me $15 credit towards a pair that is $30 or more. Plus I have to pay for shipping. Plus I have to ship the broken ones back to them again. No thanks. I'll just give the Sennheiser HD202's a shot. They cost less than it would to try a different pair of Koss headphones. I should just say that if you can take really good care of these headphones and never jostle them or anything, they're really comfy. They're just not durable.
