I'm not using the mouse for any kind of presentations or anything like that, I just thought it was cool with some nice added features IE, the media controls and laser pointer. The media controller works real well for me with Foobar2000. Surely it's compatible with iTunes and various other big name MP3 players. I haven't found a video player that it works with though. The tiny receiver, while not the smallest in the business, is still pretty small and shouldn't bother the casual user. Well built, and I'd suggest it to anyone.

As said before: The SlimBlade USB bit MUST NOT BE PLUGGED IN BEFORE LOGGING INTO YOUR MAC USER ACCOUNT OR YOUR MAC WILL KERNAL PANIC. This seemed to be a consistent pattern. Log into your account FIRST, then plug-in the Kensington USB attachment. That's too bad. But it get worst: There is no wheel to click, just a really cool ball that it is useless to open a new tab in firefox. But if you want it for windows, and if you never use the wheel for clicking, then is a very cool mouse, and the media presenter keys works fine.

I was able to buy this mouse on Amazon for $23, and it works fine. Laptops, desktops - all with WinXP Pro. No problems and does what it supposed to do, though the driver must be installed, only the mouse function seems to be PnP. The only concern is for the feature switch button on the underneath, it seems like it may not stand up to a lot use. We'll see.
