I was worried when I first bought this product because of all the reviews saying that the rubber fades away after use, but I'm online about 6 hours a day on weekdays and even more on weekends and after 6 months of steady use there's no signs of fading at all. The design is interesting and all my friends ask about it when they see it, a lot of people ask if it's comfortable since it doesn't have the arch that most mouses have, and surprisingly it is very comfortable. After 6 months of use I've encountered no problems, which is a relief considering all the problems I've had with previous mouses. Definitely 5 stars for this one.

2 for 1 - I know I don't have to worry about running out of batteries for this wireless mouse, because if I do, I just open up the cover and plug in to my computer and I'm good to go. Perfect for airplanes too.

Really comfortable mouse that fits quite conveniently into a laptop bag mouse compartment. Nice sleek flat design fits the hand well and the rubbery textured siding gives effortless grip. Unlike many a mouse designed for laptops, it is compact yet does have "real mouse length". This makes it far more comfortable to use than those annoying mini laptop mouse, which seem designed more to be small for carrying than for actual computing use. It is also fairly quick and accurate (noticeably better than many I've tried in this department). However, here are the drawbacks: 1) The wheel does not have the "tilt-wheel" feature. Not a BIG deal, but would be nice. 2) As others have mentioned, though it offers a USB cord option in case your batteries die on you (so that you can just unwind the internally hidden cord and plug in and be powered by USB), this cord is very flimsy, AND difficult to re-wind and put back in place. Since I never use this option, it's no big deal. AND, after all, this IS designed to be just an emergency back-up option. 3) The range is pretty limited. Less than 3 feet. This won't matter to many who are working with this at the desk, etc. However, I have a several regular uses (audio recording, watching streaming movies, etc) where it'd be nice if it had a broader range. BTW, I have a bigger, clumsier wireless Logitech mouse/keyboard set where the mouse range is literally about 20 feet. 4) Get some Krazy Glue, because the magnets that hold the very conveniently removal lid and base together will eventually loosen from the plastic, and will need to be re-glued. NOTE: Be sure to glue the correct side(s) back into the hole, otherwise you'll get the opposing/repelling polarity which pushes away instead of attract. Duh...I know, but I did just that and had to re-re-glue, ha ha. In spite of these drawbacks, which really won't matter to the day to day applications of most users, this is an outstanding mouse (both for comfort and function) that I might consider re-purchasing should this one suddenly up and die. I've had this one for about 2 years now, and it's still going smooth and strong (knock on wood). Cheers
