Pros & Cons :the turntable also sounds better than doing this with my audio technica turntable hooked up to the stereo and dedicated cd recorder - there is better bass response with the ion.

Pros & Cons :you have to learn to push a few buttons, insert a blank cd, and cue the record in the proper order.
