IBM 08L9298 100/200GB LVD LTO New Bulk (08L9298)

The 100/200 GB LTO internal tape drive establishes new benchmarks in capacity and performance for server backup. Its 100GB native capacity per cartridge marks at least a 66 percent increase over the current industry leaders. With native throughput of 54GB per hour, LTO tops the previous fastest drive by at least 10GB per hour, a 25 percent performance improvement. Because LTO standard system interface is Ultra2 SCSI (LVDS), it can support up to 80MB per second system data transfer rate. The 100/200 GB LTO internal tape drive is backed by a three year warranty. LTO is designed to compete with AIT, DLT, 8mm and to a lesser extent, DDS4. It is a great solution for customers whose server infrastructure has outgrown the DDS Standard.
