My husband looked for this particular 'fish finder" at all retail stores locally. It was not available. I went online to AMAZON, and sure enough, there it was! I placed the order, it was here within two business days, and he absolutely loves it! Thanks AMAZON:)

I have owned this unit for two years now and use it in a portable case. It gives amazing detail and is easy to read in bright sunlight. The wide beam is very useful for "prospecting" for fish on big flats.

I am not writing a review for this exact product, but am for a similar one. It failed because of a plastic part that broke. Humminbird will not allow me to purchase a replacement part. The only concession they will make is that if I ship the unit to them they will repair it at approximately 50% of replacement cost. I consider that a bum deal and totally unacceptable. Because of their failure to provide even a minimum level of decent product service I've bought my last Humminbird product.
