It's meant to be small and discrete, yet the subwoofer is enormous. It isn't that hard to setup and the booming sound is fine for me as a nonaudiophile. However, if you have a 1080p HDTV, the DVD playback will look amazingly poor. It's great if you got the freebie deal that Best Buy had going, but think twice before shelling out the $ on this thing.

The system is sleek, the speakers don't stick out and dominate the room like many in many other systems. Despite their size, the sound is alright. My living room is approximately 4x6m, and the speakers fill the room with movie sounds. At low volume levels the dialogue is maybe too low, but as I said, the volume can be adjusted high enough to be loud enough and even too loud in my living room. Overall, I think these speakers are perfect for at least a 4x6m living room. If you don't care about looks, you could probably get the same quality for less money. If you want perfect sound quality, you can get better quality for the same money. To a regular person this system sounds great, and looks great.

If you are looking for a compact home theater you should consider DAV-IS10. First of all the system provides a real surround despite the size. Second of all, it`s stylish and has a upscaler dvd player. The conexions: HDMI - I use the hdmi port with my Sony Bravia Optical input - I use with the PS3 RCA input - I use with airport (itunes) Remember it`s not a professional home theater, but if you want to save space and buy a system with nice features, good surround i think this is a splendid option. It really works for me.
