Sort of. I have Charter Cable but I can't get a DVR yet. There is a monthly fee for those too, for each one you have. I am not sure that you can do anything to watch what you record on other TVs.
For most households, an integrated DVR from the local cable or satellite provider is the best bet -- as long as you already subscribe to a digital cable or satellite service.
