I have had this TV since Feb '09. After some minor tweaks, the picture is one of the best I have ever seen, and the BEST picture within it's price range. One would have to spend a couple of thousand more to get a picture as good as this, especially at this size. Couple of minor things I wish were different: 1) Wish it had two tuners for true picture-in-picture 2) Wish I was able to edit any channel name to anything I want 3) Wish I could edit source input names to anything I want 4) Wish they were still being made as all my friends want one after seeing mine and hearing about the great price I paid!

Unfortunately, this TV is now almost impossible to find, but if you can find one, don't hesitate. The color reproduction (with just a few easy tweaks in the menu) is just about perfect. The fact that it uses an LED lamp instead of expensive DLP bulbs is a great feature as well. I've had it for a couple of months and so far so good (fingers crossed) but some people have had some issues. RPTV is nearly gone, and this is probably one of the best ones you can get, and even when they were new, the price was VERY reasonable. I love LCD, but they're just not affordable in larger sizes. Its a shame that these are not being made any more - Samsung had a real winner.

Had this TV not blown up I would have given 5 stars. After 5 months the TV would not turn on, got a flashing green light (green light of death) and cycle through start up. Called customer support and got a service order. Tech will call within 6 business days to schedule an appointment (who knows when the appointment will be). Was told the Tech won't be able to fix the problem till diagnostics are preformed and parts are ordered.... once the parts are received another service call will be scheduled for installation of the replacement parts and the beat goes on. If I had a do over, I wouldn't buy this unit!
