It's the most secure dashboard mount for the Garmin GPS. The suction mount that comes with the GPS just doesn't cut it.

When my power cord broke on my older GPS I contacted Garmin. They told me that I could not purchase just the cord, I needed the entire mount. They gave me the part number and said I could probably find it for a better price if I did an internet search. I saw my original suction mount on Amazon, but was intrigued by the weighted 3 footed mount. I purchased it and it works so much better the the original! Thanks Garmin and Amazon!

Excellent, it holds the streetpilot c340 well, bought this two years ago and it is still doing good, wish garmin would make this for the Nuvi models. You can easily store it, it is not that bulky or heavy, sometimes i put it in the passenger seat.
