This is a great little unit. I use it with my Dell XPS to convert the SPDIF signal to analogue, which I then play through my old Goodmans AV Surround Receiver. I have only one word of caution. When connecting the RCA plugs care needs to be taken in not pushing too hard, as there is a visible movement of the sockets, which could present a problem. Once again, a good quality product which I would recommend to anybody who needs to convert signals in this way. Jim.

So far it's worked flawlessly. It's being used to convert optical audio from a HDTV set to an analog speaker system. I set it up, hid the box and that's it. Sound is excellent for this system.
