I love the slim design and weight of this phone. I use it quite a bit for conference calls and the clarity is good on both ends. I've only had one person say there was some feedback and wanted to know if they were being recorded. On my wish list would be a battery strength indicator on the display panel. When this phone starts beeping due to a low battery you have very little time and then it's dead. I like the VIP ring identifier, except the phone rings the regular ringer first and then the second ring is the assigned VIP ringer for that number. I wish that the VIP ringer would kick in on the first ring, so I could have an immediate ID. But those are just minor things. One complaint may be static, but I found out it was because of my DSL Internet. Once I plugged the DSL phone filter into the wall and the base into the filter I have not had any more static. All in all I am pleased.

Pros - Sleek and slim, looks nice, stores phone numbers and some extra features, decent range etc. Cons - Everything else. Cannot hear anything from the other end since voice clarity is absolutely appalling! Okay, I don't want to waste too much time on this review, because it's such a waste of time speaking about this ridiculous equipment. I'm so frustrated with this POS bought for $70 from Walmart. Dect 6.0 is supposed to be interference free, but GE went one step ahead so that it has interference even with fluorescent light bulbs! It only stores 3 numbers for redial and I find this also very limited. This is a phone I bought for style over substance and what a nightmare it turned out to be. It's nothing wrong with the technology I suppose, just a bad product. (And yes, I've owned this for over a year now). Enough said. Get something else, may be anything else!

Most reviews that complain about this and that are isolated instances and not the mere fact that the design or the actual performance is flawed. Others who review this phone as one that has missing some features, well I can also see that this phone has no video player or MP3 player or it has no airbag or ABS braking system? ha? Are you kidding me? Well just review this phone on the basis of its class and category so you don't have to complain too much of what the phone does not have or does not do. This wireless phone is SUPERB in distance and clarity compared to other wireless phones we have either 5.8Ghz, 900 Mhz or the 2.4Ghz wireless devices. I went out the house about 300 feet and honestly I can still get a dial-tone and the clarity was perfect! My 2.4Ghz phone can only go as far as our garage which is just 20 feet. This phone is light and the complaint about accessing the phone book and other features are all part of learning how to use this out of ordinary wireless phone. I like the answering machine too and it shows you via digital display the number of messages you have plus other normal features an answering machine has. I love the speaker phone of the handset too. So to those who reviewed this phone with low rating, they can return their item to where they got it but I am keeping mine and I am recommending it! FIVE STAR wireless Phone! Also to those who said the phone has echo or feedback, lower the volume of its speaker phone or keep the feedback from happening by not placing the phone on a flat surface or hold it in such a manner that a feedback can happen through your hand from the mic to the speaker and vice-versa. And also to those who said the volume or audio is weak, did you remove the plastic cover/protection at all? lol!
