If you are looking to buy a phone that will last up to and more then two years, look elsewhere. We bought a three phone set and my mother bought a two phone set and the screen on ALL five phones can not be read. All you see is random dots and dashes. Caller ID is worthless now. I could understand if only one phone crapped out, but all five?! It didn't just go blank, little sections of the screen went a bit at a time. Probably started a year in. Beware!

this is a good phone system can ahave multiple hansets in different rooms using only one active phone jack.

Have used sister to this phone for 2 yrs. without one problem. Useful features with good sound.
