We bought the Belkin Flip DVI directly from Belkin, 1st one didn't work .. stupid button wouldn't switch, video was mostly not working -- they replaced it, the new one is WORSE. (i twas a little surprised at how eager they were to replace it, i wondered how many bad ones they've shipped. the swap out process was a pain in the REAR! had to call different departments for troubleshooting and then for replacement). So, the little button light doesn't' even come on, you can't 'flip' .. they just better take the return and refund me my money ... now i gotta find a new one .... just don't ... this one, tooo buggy. -- edit -- We bought the belkin dvi kvm switch for our son's computers (personal & cyber/charter school) -- we bought it direct from belkin, out of the box it was temperamental, and I only got it to work once. calling tech support (india) they finally determined 'it was the cables' and said we had to call another number to arrange an RMA. i had to give a credit card # if i wanted one shipped right away, and had to fight with them over not paying shipping (i already had paid for that once!) -- a week later i got another one .. only for it to work WORSE. the flip button is flimsy, doesn't work, and the entire design SUCKS. it seems to more work software based than hardware based. today i got my iogear 'Miniview micro DVI-D KVM with Audio and USB Hub' -- it worked IMMEDIATELY w/o any effort whatsoever. the bonus is that the iogear switch switches based on keyboard input as well as the little button (which is SOLID, NOT flimsy) ... the belkin only works via the keyboard after you've installed special software! (which isn't available for all OS's) we're also using the belkin (bought it also) ps/2 to USB cable that does actually work. DON'T BUY THIS SWITCH .. IT STINKS!! Get the Iogear!

Belkin Flip DVI-D KVM Switch with Remote F1DG102D Before I bought this product, I purchased an IOGEAR product in a big box store that claimed on the front of the package that it would work on a Mac. No matter what we did, it did not work. After an hour on the phone with their tech support telling me I needed to get a non-Mac keyboard to make the product work, I took it back and ordered this Belkin. Yes is is more expensive but the installation was relatively easy and the ease of use is makes it a "10" in my book. I marvel every time I click and thank the Belkin tech innovators for a job very well done. Belkin delivers what they promise.

If your looking for an easy solution for sharing two computers with one mouse + keyboard on an apple 30" cinema display then this is for you! Works great with full resolution.. Now I'm only one click away from switching back and forth on two systems.. Thanks Belkin
