i use it for my disktop, and it is more then good, i love it, it geves me realy full privacy

The description of this item states this item blacks out from side view, this is not true. In fact, the product packaging even states, "Darkens screen image from a side view." At every side angle, even the shapest one possible, the screen is visible, but darkened. It will help prevent someone off to your side from reading what you see on your screen; however, if you are looking at pictures or websites, anyone to your sides will be able to tell what is on your screen. This is my third brand of privacy filters and I know there are betters out there (I can't remember which ones unfortunately). For the price this is ok, but will not give you privacy.

This is pretty good when you are in an open area at work. This Filter is inexpensive and does the job. Unfortunately the tabs do not keep the Privacy Filter flushed with the monitor. Therefore the filter makes the view on the monitor blurry. So I had to apply a little tape to the filter on each side edge and tape it to the inside of the monitor. Now I can see the words clearly all the way around.
