I bought this external battery to keep my iPod charged on a trip to Asia. It worked fantastically well. It held its own charge for the entire trip, and I was able to recharge my iPod and my iPhone numerous times with no problems. I am very pleased that I bought the Macally !

I got this as a gift from my brother and it's alright for one time charge. It's serves well for an emergency power. My brother recently bought another charger called Atom and it charges his iphone more than two times and iPod shuffle over 5 times and he looovves it. I am planning on buying that to replace this one. Check out atomondemand.com

Funny that people like this product. I felt that this product was a wast of money. It will barely charge my phone one time and you have to remember to keep plugging it in every few days or it looses its charge by sitting unused. It sits now in my glove box never to be used again.
