I've owned two of these cables for a couple of years now. They have been flawless for me. I'm using them on Mac Pro computers connected to Dell 2405FPW monitors. I take my computers to various work locations and this combination has always been very trouble-free for me. The price is very reasonable and the cable is relatively thin and flexible. That's a winning combination for me.

This is a 28awg (gauge)cable which is only spec.d for 5m. It may need a signal equalizer (or booster) to work on some computer-monitor setups. I got this for a '09 Mac Mini connected to a Samsung Syncmaster 204t. Adapters on either computer or monitor end do not seem to impact image signal strength. 1280x1024 at 60Hz worked without sparkly image degredation - at 75Hz I began to see some sparkles in black areas. anything higher covered the screen with sparkles. The cable worked with Mac Mini and Olevia 37" TV at 720P resolution. Also worked with Mac mini and Syncmaster 245bw at 1920x1200 res. (I'd guess this monitor has some built in equalizer). Did not work at 1920x1200 res with a Gateway LP2417 HD Display. Still had sparkles at 720p res. A Mac Pro work at 1600x1200 on the 204t and 245bw but still did not work with the Gateway at 1920x1200. You might also consider that many new 1080p HD TVs are 120Hz or soon even higher; my testing showed that the increase in Hz also increased the requirement for stronger signal strength, so you should consider this when buying a cable. The Tripp Lite cable doesn't work for my setup so I'm returning it but might for yours. I've decided to go conservative and get a 24awg tin plated CL2 35 foot cable - although with these specs a 50 foot cable should work with most setups.
