This particular item is one I have bought more than once, it works perfectly and effortlessly on Windows and Mac systems. I have it going on two differently built Hackintoshes. The chipset that D-link uses is apparently natively supported by OSX.

Bought it for the simple reason of using my BT Mighty Mouse with an iMac G4, and it works perfectly -- and is fast, the few times I transfer files over BT. I'm confident it can withstand much more than a mouse and occasional files though.

After countless attempts to install this product, I called customer support only to be informed by their technical support that this unit was not compatible with my operating system (Windows Vista). Needless to say I returned the unit.
