As an audio professional, I expect quality from Sennheiser. These earbuds exceed my expectations. They are small, light weight and very comfortable. I frequently sleep with mine in. The noise cancellation and sound quality are excellent. If you use earbuds, do yourself a favor and get a pair of these.

I bought these to replace a pair of Sony MDR-ED21LP's that died on me after a year or so of usage. CX300 Pros -Sounds great -Gives good bass -Offers good sound isolation CX300 Cons -They break I used these daily and have them wrapped around my mp3 player carried in my pocket. I also used them when I cycled. Be very gentle with them, otherwise try something else.

You cannot beat the price for a closed ear headphone. the thing that I did not expect out of this (and presumably all closed ear headphones) is that I can hear myself. I hear my breathing(I breath lightly, I am not a wheezing ex-smoker). Sometimes I think I can hear my heart beat. All of this adds to more background sound so I have to turn up the volume. Other than my own breathing, these headphones are great. They have the best bass response of any earbud I've used. These are my first in-ear headphones so I cannot compare, but for the price they beat any earbud I've used.
