The battery does not work properly. It does not charge more than 59% of its capacity.

If you own the older generation HP Verve (dv2550se), you know it came with a 12-cell battery that gives you roughly 4-5 hours of battery time. The problem with that battery is that it protrudes out of the bottom of the laptop. This wouldn't be so bad, but for the fact that it does not go all the way across the bottom of the laptop. So the laptop is unstable as you type. This battery fits nicely into the Verve. On the lowest power setting, expect at most 3 hours of charge, assuming little media usage. This is small comparatively speaking, but if you're always sitting at home docked or plugged in, you just won't care. But the battery makes the laptop the PERFECT size and weight; I love it.

Gave my HP laptop 2+ hours of battery time when the old battery used to die in 30 min. This is exactly the same size as the original battery and does not protrude out of the laptop.
