This was purchased for my 86 yr old Mother. She had given up using the phone as even with hearing aids she was unable to understand others. This was an excellent purchase as she now is able to hear others on her phone and is now calling her friends in other states. Didn't find the ringer too loud as it has 3 settings. The adjustment for voice amplification is easy for her to adjust sound. I would highly recommend this phone

The phone is excellent, it is so wonderful that my 94 year old mother can now talk on the phone and the person calling does not have to scream. We are very happy with it

I bought this for my mother. Works great in all regards. She has had it for about 3 weeks now. She doesn't say, 'what?' anymore. I feel this is due to the amplified handset. She loves the LOUD ringer too. However, the push-button one-touch dialing is why I bought this for her. SHe just presses one button and the phone dials any one of up to ten pre-programmed numbers (all her kids) and then 911. Great Buy!!!
