I've ordered four of this particular model so far, and only 1 of them actually worked with my Dell Axim X51. But for the one that worked, the laser still scanned slower than the older Socket scan card models, which are unfortunately much harder to find and more expensive now. I don't know what Socket is doing releasing such an inferior product with such a high malfunction rate. Or perhaps the ones being sold at a discount on Amazon are simply factory rejects. Either way, buyer beware.
