This headunit is the BEST!!! I wasnt sure at first if I wanted to throw down all the cash for it, but amazons price is way better than others. the stereo does everything it says, and more. i loved to get in my car while talking on the phone and it automatically switch into speakerphone through the stereo. the headunit definately has all the "bells and whistles" to make anyone's jaw drop. it has everything. bluetooth, ipod, motorized faceplate, cool screen savers, awesome color, easy to use, etc. The included instructions were very easy to follow. it takes very little wiring experiance to figure it out and get it installed. I cant wait to hook up some amps so I can hear the headunit to its full potential. Great item overall, highly recommend.

It works great! It automatically links to my BlackBerry 8330 when I turn my car on and goes back to the handset when I turn it off. I also use it with my Samsung Trace. It will only let you connect one at a time, but it works great with both. I still can't get the phone book transfer to work quite right, but it could be error on my part. My main reason for purchasing the deck was to connect my iPod. It works great and sounds amazing! The only thing pioneer could have done different is let you scroll by Alphabet letters to get through artists, or songs, because if you have a lot on you iPod it takes a while to scroll to anything in the middle. And the other thing they could have done is put the wheel on the right side of the screen so you can see what you are scrolling through. It's the best deck of its kind I've seen and heard.

I have the black one, and this thing has been a frustration from the beginning. I have never got it to work. My PC recognizes it, but gives me an I/O error. Media Player refuses to recognize it. I have never got it to play, and can't figure out why. Now it does not turn on at all, and I figure it is a dead battery. It could be my problem, but with nothing but a blinking light to go by - how can you tell what is the problem?

I see from other reviews that it might just be the quality of the pink one (as they say, get the black one? or just save the extra for the iPod Shuffle). Anyways, it worked nicely just about long enough for the general warranty to run out. Since then it's had major issues with the connection between the earbud jack and the player. Sometimes pressing it in *really* hard helps. Sometimes it needs to be at a certain angle. My kid sister had a different brand of cheap mp3 player for a while and experienced similar problems. Also, the lowest volume setting is still kinda loud in a totally silent environment. I found this ironic considering the rabid "protect your ears" warnings that came with the documentation. And when you turn it down beyond the lowest setting, the sound cuts out completely, which can be confusing the first time it happens. Moral of the story: you get what you pay for. Save for something nicer. Or at the very least, don't get this color.

Simple to use, and the inexpensive price on this Creative Zen trumps the cost that is added to other manufacturers who mass advertise to sell their product. This internal battery 1 GB MPS is perfect for my active lifestyle. I take it everywhere. The software is simple - like drag and drop, easy to change tracks. I'm very happy -

Overall, for its price, this is a good value. However, I find some flaws with the volume settings. First, the volume settings do not increase gradually enough. The difference between volume 16, for example, and volume 17 is a little too drastic. Secondly, volume settings are not consistent across different equalizer settings. For example, volume 16 on the "bass" setting sounds much louder than the same volume for other equalizer settings, especially the "normal" setting, which is markedly quieter than the others. Note, of course, that while it is mac-compatible, it will not play music files purchased via i-tunes.

I bought this mp3 player to take with me when I'm snowboarding - it's cheap, durable, and I don't miss having a display, since it usually doesn't work well in cold weather anyway. The Stone only has basic controls, but I don't really need a whole lot more than next/back/on/off/vol up/vol down when I'm on the hill. I bought a keychain case for it, so I just clip it to my jacket and I'm good to go. If anything were to happen to it, it's inexpensive enough that I could just go out and grab a new one. Also - if you can, encode in WMA and you'll be able to get a LOT of songs on it.

The Creative Zen Stone is a great mp3 player; it's easy to download music to it, is lightweight enough to carry anywhere, and for a small gadget it has terrific sound! It's very easy to recharge by hooking it to a USB port on your computer, but if you're planning on taking it on vacation, I'd suggest purchasing the power adapter also made by Creative. It will charge your Zen quicker and is able to be plugged into any electrical outlet. My Zen has been a great purchase and one I highly recommend!

With his brothers and sisters having Ipod's, our 7 year old kept asking for an Ipod too. But, Ipod's are a little expensive for a 7 year old boy, so we figured we'd try him out on a Zen by creative. What a great idea. It's small, easy to work and at 7 he's not to concerned about seeing what he's playing. He just wants to listen to his favorite songs while he's doing homework, riding in the car, or someplace that's boring to him. It was one of my better ideas. Listening to his music keeps him happy and QUIET when we are traveling or waiting somewhere. Plus, it teaches him to build up responsiblity for the day he gets a bigger MP3 like and Ipod. Thanks creative!
