The iPF5100 is a large, high quality printer, capable of output as good as or better than the competition and of more expensive printers. The ink usage is tolerable, and the paper handling is superb. Black and white images on art paper are IMHO best of class. Setup is quite easy. The roll paper unit works very well. Bronzing is no worse, but probably no better than the competition. There are many who will argue about definition in the complex design of the droplets deposited onto the page, just photographers would over argue over the characteristic grain of various print papers, yet few will be using a magnifying loop to enjoy the artistic quality of a 16x20 print. The point being, the dot pattern looks different than the competition, not worse or better, just different. At any normal viewing distance this is not of question. Speed is good enough I have not timed output. There are some quirks with print driver, not difficult, just a little different way of modeling the tasks than others have used. I have called Canon on occasion with questions and found their support and attitude of help to be top notch.
