You live, you learn. You got what you pay. After a year of light use, copy paper starts getting ripped.Does not make any sense to fix. Repairs cost more than value of this machine.

I bought this printer for $80 - it's quick to set up, easy to install and unlike many of the HP devices, the driver package isn't too large. The speed of printing is really quite remarkable, and even from the standby mode it will produce pages within about 10 seconds. I wish there was a document feeder on the scanner so I could scan multiple pages more easily, but otherwise the scanner works without any issues. This replaced my old HP All-in-one which was problematic for years - apart from endless software problems, the unit literally drank the ink refills and printing was becoming expensive. This machine has reasonably priced toners (especially if you use third-party refills), so I can finally print out 20-page documents without feeling my wallet being drained. The build quality is a little flimsy in places, but for $80 this is really not an issue, especially since the printed output looks great. I'd highly recommend this unit on price alone, but having the scanning and fax capability is an extra plus.
