It does it job. The picture on our flat screen is clearer and the sound is so much better.

A good cable is what one needs to get, not the overpriced one ..i would suggest around $30. The connectors need to be of good quality preferably gold plated. Now in order to future proof your system to support the newer HDMI spec.ver 1.4 which does 3D Over HDMI and a higher resolution beyond 1080p also called the 4K x 2K Video Support- the type they use in studios aka industrial grade, you need good cables.

I purchased these cables for use with a DVD player. They are well insulated. 480i; 720p; and 1081 pictures are very good. Connectors offer snug fit. Well shielded against EMF and RF interference.
