The cartridge is the usual Brother quality (excellent) but I didn't realize how thin 1/4 inch is. I use these labels on DVD's of my son's football games and found this tape to be way too thin. Will buy the brand again, but not this width.

Brother TZ tapes are the gold standard. This multi-layered, laminated tape can withstand cold, heat, water and mild abrasion without losing the integrity of the words printed on it. I have several TZ tapes in different widths and colors for organizing my small business. Brother also offers iron-on tape for labeling clothes and other cloth items; security tape; flexible tape; and extra-strength adhesive tapes in a variety of sizes and colors.
