I use Brother products for near two decades and I wish that other aspects of our life would as reliable as their equipment. This thing is super convenient and beautiful. It NEVER EVER EVER EVER failed to produce a label. The P-touch editor is an example of fine software engineering. My previous Brother laser printer was donated after printing some 200.000 pages and it still printing as a hell in a new location. Rest assured, my next printing device will have Brother label on it as well.

I use this unit mainly to create address labels for items I sell on Ebay. The labels print in what seems like under a second. Labels stick really good and no smudges. I have no gripes with this unit.

Brother QL-570 Professional Label Printer It's not often that I need to print a label, but frequently when I do I find that I only need one label and not a whole page. While it is possible to print one label at a time on a 30 sheet page, it is a pain. Where I work, we use the DYMO labeler to print barcodes. I also use it to print address labels as needed, again, only needing one and not a full page. So, I figured that it would be nice to get a DYMO label printer to use at home. Checking the Internet for the DYMO, I was floored by the price. Especially since I would only be using the printer for the occasional label. So, I looked online for just "label printers". The Brother appeared in the list and not only is much less expensive than the DYMO, but it also lets you use more than one label size, is easier to load than the DYMO, and lets you easily design the labels with the P-Touch Editor. At this point, the only thing that the Brother does not do that the DYMO does, that I would like to see it do, is check the address on the Internet. If I enter a mailing address in the DYMO, I can hit Check Address and it will go somewhere online and confirm the address and add the +4 to the zip code. But, other than that one thing, the Brother is much more flexible and user friendly than the DYMO. I highly recommend to everyone (including my IT at work) to get a Brother QL-570 label printer.
