I researched for 2 long days into getting headphones with microphones to use with a VOIP service and my laptop. I finally ordered this set because it sounded like the best combination of material quality, durability, price, sound quality, usb, etc. Got it today and sent it back today. It is really big and square on top - sized for Hermann Munster. It is relatively heavy. Due to the combination of its not fitting my ears very tightly and its weight, whenever I turned or slightly tilted my head, it slid off my head. You can adjust it to make it even bigger (vertically bigger), but there isn't any way to adjust it to be horizontally smaller. I'm sure that I have a normal-sized head for an adult woman, and some noise-cancelling Panasonic headphones I bought here last year for about $90 fit me perfectly. I didn't plug it in to see how it sounded, since it was not going to work for me anyway. I guess the typical gamer is a guy with a relatively large head, which is fine. If they don't want to make these horizontally adjustable, they could make them in 2 or 3 sizes - perhaps for men, women, and children - it would probably be a good marketing tactic. I guess I'll have to revisit some of the logitech or plantronic headsets+microphone that I initially discounted due to their 4 star ratings and reported quality and comfort issues.

For those who use Skype for telephoning -- and we're increasing at a rapid rate since its cost for international calls can't be beaten -- the Sennheiser PC156 is excellent.

If your a Vent/teamspeak user like I am the last thing you want to think about is your headset fiting correctly and sounding great. the Sennheiser Pc156 is one of the best for the money head sets out there. Sound and comfort are tops, sometimes I forget its on me and I get up and almost choke myself with it. the only down side is it can be a little loose. but that is very very minor. over all its a great purchase and a must have if your constantly useing a Voice Server. I rate it (AAA)
