The ink for the Multipass F80 (an older Canon printer)is becoming less available in retail stores, and where available, the price is higher than it has been. There are many ink knockoffs, but I am hesitant to try these. My only problem with these cartridges has always been they should have been a greater capacity.

i'm glad i had a gift card because i would not have brought this for over $30...that's too much...you can go to walmart and get it for cheaper...it wasn't broken or opened so that was good

I'm one of those hardy individuals who sticks with, and hangs on to, products that serve me well. No need to have the "latest and greatest". Only problem is that one cannot always find renewable supplies for some of these products. Amazon comes to the rescue with good support! My "vintage" goodie is a Canon i850 printer. I like it because it has individual ink tanks for the primary colors, and black--no need to buy a big, expensive 3-color tank when just one color runs dry. I don't print pictures, just documents. Only problem is that no one local to me carries the replacement tanks any more; I have to drive 120 miles round trip to find a place! Thank goodness Amazon still has replacement tanks, and the original Canon brand to boot. Though I have to pay shipping, it's a lot cheaper than gas for a 120-mile trip (and, no sales tax!). And, the Amazon price is competitive with the long-distance store. Thank you, Amazon.
