Teachers this is a Great "have-to-have" Product
We had MACs with remote moniter cards that the school system replaced with PCs without cards. This box took less than 5 minutes to take from sealed box to functioning remote video moniter display. The image is excelent even on large moniters and LCD projection. The best feature was the "spotlight" allowing me to direct the students to where I wanted them to be focused on the screen. This feature and the ablity to roll up or down a "vertical hold" blank out areas of the screen, has taken both reading along with the class& PowerPoints presentations from the screen & Vocabulary review, to a whole different level of educational experience for my students. These features alone made it worth the additional cost over basic (non-remote access) AVerMedia unit. Since I started using mine in my Middle School Science classroom 2 math teachers and an english teacher have ordered them. I only set mine up in my classroom 6 days ago. I am sure I will discover more uses to rave about in time but this is enough.
Pros: Check the "spotlight' and other features
Cons: The infra-remote window is a small target.I wish it had an audio/volume function

Works well
I used this product to connect a Golden Tee arcade game to my TV. Because the resolution of the game is not a standard resolution, I cannot get the entire screen on at the same time. I can, however, pan the screen to see the edges. For connecting an arcade game to a TV, it works best for what I've found.
Pros: The pan and stretch features work well
Cons: Only works with standard resolutions
