Product works great and offers a simple ad-hoc solution for using the ipod in any given car. However, beware that even though it says it 'supports' the iPod Touch and other later generation devices, it won't actually CHARGE them unless you have a charging adapter (Scosche Charging Adapter), which is another 25 bucks.

Hooked this up to my sony xplod deck with an extra cable from radioshack for around 5 bucks. Sound quality is amazing. sounds just like a cd. install took no more than 30 mins and Im not a car junkie either. Would highly recommend. MUCH MUCH better than FM transmitter devices.

The only issue I have with this is the angle the cord comes out of the dock connector. IMO, the cord should come straight down off the bottom, not out the side. Coming out of the side like that, it makes fitting the iPod into any holder a bit tricky. Other than that, with this I can charge and play my iPod Classic via my car stereo without having to play with the volume control on the iPod, which always resulted in blasting my ears out when switching to headphones and then not being able to hear anything when switching back to the car.
