Just love my new XM satellite radio receiver. First time buyer of such an item and I am really pleased. I would reccommend this to anyone. It is easy to use, big, lit display.

This is an excellent unit. I paid a local stereo place $84.00 for the install. It looks like (or better than) a factory install. The antennae is out on the back on the rear window. Reception is perfect. I paid Infiniti $1,600.00 for a similar installation in my FX. The difference is that it is intergrated into the electronics of the FX. I bought the inexpensive Altec Lansing units to listen while at the office, in my office at home and in my shop. An excellent value. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this purchase. I read some of the other reviews and wonder what units they bought. I have had to plug and unplug this unit at least twice each day (office to truck to home shop). It is still working perfectly after three months. I could not be happier. I can take the same base/speaker unit with us anywhere. Plug it in, extend the antannae and listen to XM.

the item description was somewhat misleading . we still needed to buy 2 other items to set it up.The cassette adapter is no good of course if you don't have a cassette player in you car. Also the manual is just terrible to understand how to set it up and resolve problems. It took many frustrating hours to get it to work right and understand how to change settings when traveling through a large area. The unit itself is well made and it's great to have access to so many stations.
