The Image option is the ideal backup tool. EZ Gig II creates a compressed image of an entire hard drive, or an individual partition of a hard drive. At its maximum setting, the Image option can compress data to less than 1/2 its original size, allowing backups to be made to a smaller hard drive, or multiple backups to a large hard drive. EZ Gig II also provides password protection for backup images, a comments field so each image can be labeled and easily identified, and verification that the image is complete.
