This product arrived very quickly and was extremely easy to install the Seagate 500GB drive into and connect to my laptop. I was very happy to have not lost all the data on my external USB drive.

I was looking for a hard drive enclosure, not too heavy, not too big. This one fits perfectly and was what I've been looking for, additionaly its beautiful!...works perfectly and mounting my hard drive on it was very easy.

This works great so far. I just backed up my itunes through an old USB 1.0 port. It's been working for over 14 hours and is barely warm to the touch. I was worried to buy an enclosure without a fan. But the aluminum worked really well I guess. I had a fan blowing into the room near the encasement overnight so that could effect it, but extended use works well. I was very glad to get the cables with this enclosure. A lot of enclosures do not have wires with it. I enclosed my Hitachi 1 TB 16MB 7200RPM SATA Bulk/OEM Hard Drive 0A38016.
