I bought an Alpine system for my new car, replacing the Kenwood system in my old car. The KCE-300BT sounds terrible (according to everyone I call), and people can't understand what I'm saying. This compares badly to the old Kenwood bluetooth system, with which people I called couldn't even tell I was on a speakerphone. Now everybody is annoyed when I call them from my car, even when not moving. This unit must have the worst noise-cancellation properties of any unit made! I can't believe a company like Alpine even put this unit out. Now there is the new KCE-350BT, which supposedly has better noise cancellation. I guess it's either try that unit or replace my entire system with a Kenwood system, which would be expensive as I've got Bluetooth, HD Radio, and iPod connected already. I'm not happy with this unit. You're better off just using a BT headset. Don't get this product.

The new unit DOES fix the echo problem, but the sound quality is so bad that nobody can understand what I'm saying, making the new unit even more useless than the old one! And I PAID for it! Shame on me! From now on, I'm going back to Kenwood (when I can afford to dump the Alpine system). I'm so angry with Alpine at this point, that I'll never order another product from them as long as I live. STAY AWAY!
