It got three stars because it "works." I used it to split to my 42" HDTV and the picture quality was perfect. But, the quality of the picture on my 17" LCD computer monitor shows noticeable signal degradation. This might be due to the cable. Or, this could be due to the fact I split the signal. Or, as a comp. programmer friend of mine suggested, my video card is just not strong enough (all i have is a standard Dell). So this cable works, the price is right, but I don't know whether my signal issues are due to the cable or my computer. Whatever the case is, this product won't break the bank if you're just trying it out. PS - This product will NOT give you two desktops!! It will just duplicate the one you have. You need a special video card if you want that feature.

I bought this cable for my teacher, and even though it was the wrong one, I did find another use for it, and it is great!!! The price was fantastic, and the shipping was very quick,, will buy here again.
