    I tried this cable and it worked for me...it allows us to keep using the old printer we had. I am happy.

    I tried two brands of USB to Parallel cables so I could use my old Xerox Workcenter 385 with my new Dell laptop (that only has USB connectors). Neither worked. I contaced Xerox and they don't have any recommendations for compatible cables. I still run my old computer and networked it and the printer with the new computer through my router. Presto, I can print from my new computer.
