The Belkin IEEE 1394 FireWire 4-Pin to 4-Pin cable attaches a device with a four-pin port, such as a digital camcorder, to your laptop or audio video device's four-pin port at a rate of up to 400 Mbps. The cable is compatible with all Apple FireWire and Sony i.LINK devices, and has Plug and Play installation. It complies with IEEE 1394 standards for reducing radio frequency and electromagnetic interference, uses molded-strain relief and PVC over molding to enable error-free transmissions, and has twisted-pair construction for the fastest transfer rates.

I've found that all of the Belkin cables I have purchased or used at work, hold up very well and perform flawlessly. I use this for transferring video from my camcorder to my PC and am quite happy with it.

I wasn't sure it would work. The package arrived on time. It works great! Used with: Sony DCR-HC26 MiniDV Digital Handycam Camcorder Windows Vista Home Premium The recommended cable was: Sony i.Link Interface (IEEE1394, 4-PIN Connector S100) Well done Amazon.Com! Exellent product. Dont waste you money on the more expensive ones but this is a really great product and serves its purpose
