I did have a few pictures that generated errors, but I just loaded them in LView Pro and re-saved them and they work 100%. I crop the pictures at the same time to get them to fit best on the screen anyway. The caller ID picture is great. When you get a call while you are already talking, the persons picture that you are currently talking to shrinks to the upper right corner and the picture of your new caller pops up on the screen. Great range on the handset, but the buttons are too small and hard to read. That's the only complaint I have about this phone other than not having a speaker phone. Well, worth the money.

I got this phone/frame for $40 thinking that similar sized frames alone often cost much more than that. It does what it says it will do. The photo frame is easy to set up and use. I don't know how many pixels the screen has - only that they are fairly noticeable close up. It is clearly not as densely packed with pixels as other screens I own such as a 4.3" GPSr or a digital camera. At normal viewing distances however, the resolution is acceptable. Phone is okay although the recessed buttons are a little hard to use. There are a couple of key features that this unit is sorely lacking. One big annoyance is the lack of a speakerphone function. While the photo slide show can be programmed fairly easily, it would be nice to have a single button to turn it on or off. For the money that I paid, the phone is a nice combination.

I think this is great for what it is, especially at this price. Just as a digital frame, this is a great bargain - and once you add the photo caller ID it's really worth it. I haven't noticed anything wrong with the phone quality itself, but I'm not a phone connoisseur. Even if you never use the phone, though, you're getting a digital frame that holds up to 100 pics for $40! Really, I find it hard to complain about that.
