Blast some tunes with a new car stereo system

Factory fitted car audio systems are never good enough for enthusiasts. They will never offer the output bass and sound quality that you crave for. So upgrading your existing factory fitted music system does seem like a good option. There are quite a few stereo systems available these days and it does get tricky to get the right one.
Before buying a new car stereo system you need to know the components you need to look for and the additional features you need. When it comes to components you would require a good amplifier and a set of speakers. A subwoofer is vital to your sound system in your car as it is responsible for the thundering bass which most audiophiles crave for. Some of the best subwoofers around are from Rockford Fosgate. Their line of Punch subwoofers are one of the most powerful around. The Rockford Fosgate R2SD2 12 inch subwoofer is one of the most compact ones around thanks to its wonderful design. The 500 watt RMS output is incredible considering its size and design. Couple this with a good set of 2 ohm car speakers and you will not have to worry about your sound system again. This subwoofer can also be placed in to sub boxes like the Sonic Chevrolet sub enclosures.
The next thing you need to look for is a good amplifier. While buying an amplifier you should keep in mind the output of your speakers. The amplifier you plan to buy should be able to handle the output which your speakers are capable of. The Infinity Kappa Series 5 is a pretty good 5 channel sound amplifier to have. This amplifier has a maximum output of about 1200 watts. This amplifier has a Bass Optimization technology which fine tunes the bass to give you the best possible output. When this amplifier gets a little too warm instead of shutting down it will reduce output accordingly to till it gets back to regular temperatures. This would work well with all head units and most high powered speaker systems.
