I ordered this product, got it very fast, hooked it up according to instructions, and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. It was totally transparent to the electronics it was connected to (which is really important) so it turned out to be perfect for my use (software training). Others in my research group were impressed with the device, so they are going to get these for their stations.

This product is really not up to spec. It took a while to get it working at all and still does not properly display video on my secondary display. Would not recommend for buying unless you have identical displays

Per Gefen's technical support, this product only serves as a splitter. It does not work as a booster!! The statement on Amazon and their manual "Extends any DVI (Digital Video Interface) compliant device up to 1000 feet from the computer" is incorrect.
