1PK AIT2 50/100GB 8mm 230M Data Cartridge
This AIT-2 8mm Data Tape features a large native capacity of 50GB (100GB with 2:1 compression). A 16kbit memory chip (memory in cassette) is embedded into the cartridge and enables quicker access to your data. AIT-2 drives feature a closed-loop, self-adjusting path for highly accurate tape tracking. Additional features of this cartridge include high-performance read/write operations, a redesigned Metal-In-Gap tape head for reduced head/media pressure, resulting in longer life, Auto Tracking Following (ATF) system for extremely accurate tape tracking, and a built-in Active Head Cleaner, which automatically operates to clean tape drive heads.
