I was very pleased when I received this product. It suits my needs perfectly and holds all my laptop accessories with ease. It arrived overnight, although I didn't request rush shipping. I would highly recommend this product. It is well made and exceeded my expectations.

I won't do any major traveling with this case except an occasional car trip. I was looking for a bag that was more sturdy than a sleeve, but had some storage as well as a place for a mouse and power cord. This has more than enough room for those items, so it definitely fits my requirements. But if you are planning on needing lots of storage for other gear such as lots of brochures, thicker books, or more bulkier items, etc., you may have a problem finding suitable storage in this. For example, if I wanted to bring along my set of external speakers, they wouldn't fit in this. Also, I'm not a business traveler, but it seems to me that if I were to do a lot of business traveling/flying, this case might not be quite as sturdy as I would like it to be. My laptop weighs approx 7.5 lbs., and I'm not so sure I'd want to go on a plane with it in this laptop case. Someone commented on the case needing more padding on the bottom, and I do agree with that especially if you are going to do a lot of traveling. (I wish MY own "bottom padding" fared as well!) A nice feature is that the case opens up into a clam-shell so you can keep the comp in the bag. There's a velco strap that will keep the comp secure. But had I designed this case, I would have put 2 velcro straps in to hold the comp. A 17" notebook can be heavy and I think it should have more support from shifting around that only 1 strap will provide. The second strap would be in addition to the removable strap that acts as a divider for your peripherals. Another thing I liked is that the shoulder strap adjusted short enough so I could use the shoulder strap and also grab the bottom of the bag with my hand for extra stability. (I'm 5"2" tall.) So far my main gripe about this bag - and why I gave it 4 stars - is the zipper system. No problem with the main part of the bag (where the laptop goes), but the pocket on the front of the bag (called the "Speed Pocket" by Case Logic) which you would use for smaller items, doesn't open wide. It appears to put a strain on the zipper at the point where the pocket folds open, and it seems to me that at some point the zipper will fail. The zipper stops right before it goes around the corner creating a strain point. I'm waiting for the zipper to pull apart at those points. Also, the smaller zipper pulls don't have any way of grabbing on to them. It's not a problem with the larger zippers on this bag, but on the zipper for the slim pocket on the front, that thing is almost impossible to grab. I ended up using that zipper pull as a place to hook an ID tag -- just so I could have something to pull on to get that pocket to open. For me personally that was major pain in the kazoo. Overall, for the price, I would definitely buy one of these again for what I would use it for. The few inconveniences are worth the price and are work-arounds for my particular lifestyle. I saw a 17" bag at a local big-box store (that everyone loves to hate) for twice the price and basically not any better than this bag. It's a keeper.

I bought this for my acer aspire 15.6 inch laptop. It seems to be very well constructed and holds the laptop secure. There is even room next to the laptop for my wireless mouse and the power cords. I like that there is plenty of storage for other devices. So far I am pleased with this purchase!
