Astonishing bass power with clarity and strength to spare. Packaging and support are complete and the setup was simple. The compliment of bass is exquisite for music or home theater applications. Playable very loud and clean, with solid sound reproduction and accuracy. Would definetly buy BIC America products.

I bought this as a poor man's sub.....my first one. the lows are clean and clear but it did take several adjustments to get there. I can not believe all the audio sounds I've been missing. orchestras playing in movie backgrounds full and rich (like "the greatest game ever played.") the rumble of a steam powered trains are there now. found this from my research on subs at avsforum, and it is as described there. I also read how some subs were put on "hard styrofoam," but I'm not sure what that is and did not find it in a simple search. so I went to Target and bought a hard plastic white foam looking type of cutting board. it turned out to be the same size as the speaker and I put it on the carpeting under the sub. I feel it will give a better reflection of the sound. hope this helps you! PS. my kids hate it.....
